Mijin Kwon

Mijin is a graduate student in PBS, working with Dr. Tor Wager in the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience lab. Before starting her Ph.D., she pursued a career as a documentary filmmaker, which naturally led to her interest in how human minds work, particularly the role that emotions play. During her Ph.D. she aims to study the neural basis of emotional inference in ourselves (emotion experience) and in others (emotion perception) and what role our conceptual knowledge of emotions plays in this process.
