Jae Hyung Woo

My research mainly focuses on using biologically plausible, mechanistic models of decision-making networks, with the goal of explaining both behavioral and neural data. In particular, I am interested in how some of key subcortical structures (e.g., amygdala, thalamus) interact with the cortical regions to produce meaningful changes in cognitive processes which is reflected in the behavioral realm.
